torque wrench - leaking oil

The torque wrench having an oil leak problem sounds inconvenient. I did manage to find a link in where you can purchase a new torque wrench which are not very expensive and most of them are on sale. I hope this helps while you wait for your expert response.

Thank you for the quick response. I went to the link and found out they are discontinuing the model I have. It also sounds like the new version is not made in the USA. There were 3 reviews and none of them good. The 3rd review, said they have the same model as the one I am using, and it is also leaking oil. They are still using it, but also are not sure if it is also accurate. It will be interesting to see what they say about the leaking oil.

To repair the torque wrench it would need to be sent to Sears Specialty Repair. You can go to Home Services to get information about sending the wrench in for repair.

I feel sure the accuracy of the torques wrench will be compromised by the oil leakage.

I just checked on E-Bay and saw a wrench like yours new and in the box for $81.94. I think the best bet is to replace the torque wrench.

I am sending you a link to the E-Bay page.
