Q:

Tent poles 308771190 Sears Tent/awning

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
Unfortunately, due to the age of the tent, the poles have been discontinued and no substitute offered. The only option would be to run an online search for the part number of 5-8119-099 and see if you can find them online. It's a long shot but worth checking. Outside of that, you could try fabricating poles in place of the originals. The poles have changed from the originals, so we don't have poles to recommend in place of the originals.
Sorry for the inconvenience and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Q:

Emerson Microwave model# MW8119SB. Disarm beep indicating food done.

A:

I am sorry you are experiencing difficulties with your Microwave. Microwaves contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. Door repairs and adjustments, even minor ones, can cause microwave leakage and a microwave shielding leakage test must be performed using a survey meter after any microwave service. I strongly suggest that you have this repair handled only by a qualified service technician. I have provided a link To Sears Home Services if you decide to schedule service. If you think it may be cost effective to just replace the unit, I have also provided a link to the Microwave section of Sears.com to price out what a replacement would cost.

The microwave works perfect. I would just like to know if their is a way for the beep at the end of the cycle to be muted? It wakes up my roommate whose room is by the kitchen.

Thank you for choosing ManageMyLife.com. I can understand how important it is know how to operate your microwave. I did not find anything specific on your particular model. However, I did find a microwave model that is very similar to yours. I'm unsure if these instructions will eliminate the beeping after the food is heated but do know that this eliminates the beeping when you're pressing buttons to operate the unit. Below are the instructions I've found. I hope this helps.

1. Press the button labeled, "Sound" located under the "9" button on the keypad. This will display "On" to indicate an active sound system on the Emerson microwave.

2. Push the "Sound" button a second time to turn off the sound system. The display will read "Off."

3. Press the "Start" button to save the setting and to exit the sound settings screen.

I have included a link to our Manage My Life page where you can look at your manual to check for instructions there as well. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.

Thanks for your question about the Tempstar condenser fan motor. I will be glad to assist. always disconnect power supply before servicing
I researched and can see the vkb unit has a 1/3 hp. motor that mounts the same as your vkc.
When replacing the condenser motor the horse power and motor rotation must match, as well as mounting. The information I see indicates these motors are the same in these categories. You should read the label on your motor to be sure However due to minimal information on the VKC check this, the motor on the VKB mounts shaft down. If your mounts the same you will be okay with the motor from the VKB. If it does not mount shaft down, then I would suggest removing motor and taking into your local service center to be matched. I hope this helps, should you need additional assistance reply with details.
If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

Thanks Ron H.
