Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If your gas dryer is only 1 1/2 weeks old, you will need to call and schedule a service appointment. Attempting to diagnose could void the warranty.

There could be many reasons why your gas dryer fails to heat:

  • Broken igniter
  • Open flame sensor
  • High limit thermostat
  • Safety thermostat
  • Motor centrifugal switch
  • Electronic control
  • Solenoid coils on the gas valve
  • Gas valve
  • Loose or disconnected wire

In order to access the components will require removing the front panel. NOTE: If you attempt to diagnose the faulty component, disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

I added a second reply with an image and the procedure of removing the front panel. I strongly suggest calling service to diagnose and repair your dryer.

I know that it can be very difficult to have appliances without the right connections. However, all of the electrical components inside your washer are made for the 110 voltage. If you use 220 on this machine you will overload all of them. I recommend that you have your electrician add an 110 outlet to that area. It will be less expensive than buying a new washer. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
