Q:

Kennmore Elite Refrigerator 79579783901 Kenmore Elite Refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your refrigerator. Upon researching model 79579783901; it sounds like the drain line may be frozen causing the defrost water not to drain and instead build up on freezer floor. You will need to unplug the refrigerator power cord and remove the food from inside the unit, you can transfer it to an ice chest or another freezer/refrigerator. Next remove the freezer drawer and inside components, remove the back panel and you will have access to the drain. You can pour hot water on the drain until the water goes thru the drain and then reassemble the freezer components.

I trust that this information will help you, thank you have a great day.
