This model of Kenmore refrigerator is only 20% better than the 2001 Federal Standard that you are referring to. The kWh/year rating of this model is 424 kWh/year. The federal standard for this model is 530 kWh/year. This information is obtained directly from a spread sheet on the Energy Star website. According to this information, it does not appear that your refrigerator would qualify for the rebate.
