Q:

No water in ice maker 795.77579600

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Kenmore refrigerator.

From the information you have provided above, I can understand the frustration of having your refrigerator malfunction, after researching model number 795.77579600. from the sounds of it, it seems to me like the water valve may be on its way out. it seems like it’s not opening properly and not allowing the water to travel to the ice maker. There is a good chance it’s going to be the valve.  Below I have linked some information for you on how to troubleshoot the valve to see if that’s what needs replacing. While your checking for this, I would also make sure the line is not frozen and there is no clogs in the line.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business, have a great day.

Safety disclaimer before you try and repair the unit make sure the power supply is disconnected *

I have this problem as well. I also replaced the ice maker with a new one and it does not turn on and the water dispenser does not work. I also replaced the PWB, Assembly Dispenser board. What else could it be?

Q:

light blinks on ice/water dispenser 795.77579600

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your refrigerator and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 79577579600 and from your description I would suspect an issue with the power going to the dispenser. The dispenser has a board that may be failing. You will need to test the board and verify if it is working or not. The dispenser has a duct item 275a that opens with the help of a solenoid item 405a that may not be receiving enough power to open the door. Here is a link that may help with additional troubleshooting. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.
