Q:

Freezer and Refrigerator not cold enough

A:

I can appreciate your situation and thank you for the detailed report.  Funny you should mention the sealed system because that may well be the cause of your problem.  I've located a link that will offer other possibilities as well.  Click here to view the link.  I will forward your question to an expert who will investigate the matter further and get back to you.
You will hear from them within two business days if not sooner.
Until you hear from us, have a nice day.

I understand how frustrating it can become when your refrigerator is not cooling. I am happy to help. From what you have described it sounds like it would be a sealed system failure. Because the compressor is running, I do not believe that is the cause of this issue. I highly recommend recharging the Freon first because that is more than likely the cause of the unit not cooling. Scheduling this appointment should be covered under the 5 year warranty that you have. Unfortunately I do not have access to any labor charges that may be applied. There is usually the $75.00 trip charge for the technician to go out and from there he/she will give an estimate for any needed parts and labor. If you accept the estimate, then the trip charge should be included in the over all total. If you decline the service then you should only be responsible for the $75.00. I hope this information proves helpful. If you need any further assistance please feel free to reply back to this thread.

If you decide to do this you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services . Thank you for using Manage My Life.
