Question and Answers

Q:

compressor fills very very slowly 919167783 Craftsman Air compressor

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your air compressor. Upon researching model 79575083401:  I am sorry you are having a problem with the air compressor. If the unit is not building pressure like it should, I suspect something is worn inside the pump. I recommend putting your hand over the top of the cylinder. You need to seal your hand over the cylinder. Once sealed, turn the motor shaft so the piston moves up and down. When the piston moves down you should feel suction. When the piston moves up the air should push past or hand and cylinder. If it does not do this, then you may need to replace the piston, rings, and cylinder.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

I was able to access you owner's guide . On page 14 it explains the removal and reattachment of the handle for the freezer. After removing the caps as instructed you'll see the set of screws, tighten them and then reapply the caps.
