I provided door edge clearance information for this model of refrigerator (full Kenmore model 795.71083010) in the image below. You will need to leave at least 1 3/4" on each side to allow for door opening. That information below is from a contractor's spec sheet for that refrigerator. Here is a direct link for the owner's manual on the refrigerator: Owner's Manual

This should be the information that you need to properly install that refrigerator. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

Lyle (or other experts), Can you direct me to the contractor spec sheet for refrigerator model 795.7205? I am building a house and will be purchasing this refrigerator. It will be located next to a wall on one side. We are actually moving the wall behind the fridge back about 6 inches to better accomodate this large fridge. The wall will extend 3 inches past the depth without handles, then it banks off at a 45 degree angle. I am trying to determine how far from the wall the fridge needs to be in order for the door to open completely without the handle hitting the wall. The info that seems to be missing is the radius of opening for the doors. I cannot find this anywhere :(

Thanks Lyle! Is there anything that specifies the maximum angle the doors will open? The image shows the width when the doors are at 90 degrees. I'm looking for the width when the doors are opened as far as they will go. Thx, John

I do not have anything right now that provides that specification. I have a similar model that uses the same type of door hinges. The image below shows the door when it is opened all of the way and hits the stop on the hinge. This information may help you. I will check with the manufacturer to see if we can get more detailed specifications. I will update this thread once I hear back from the manufacturer.

I have contacted the manufacturer for specific measurements on that opening of the door. The manufacture indicates that the door opens to the same angle that is shown in the above pictures. They are checking for any specific design measurements or specifications that they can provide. I will update this thread again if they send me more data.

Thanks Lyle. As the images show, the door opens pretty wide. I just need to know whether "pretty wide" equate to banging into the pantry door. Any specific measurements of angle or width at maximum opening would be greatly appreciated. Thx! John

Hello John. I measured the display refrigerator that we have which most resembles the dimensions of your model 7108. The door appears to open to about a 150 degree angle as shown by the green line below. The measurement of the red line was around 17". The blue line measured 8" to the handle on the door. These dimensions may help you with that project. I am still waiting for more information from the manufacturer. If they are able to provide more specific design measurements, I will update this thread with their input. Thanks.
