I need the spring for part 235A on model 795.71049.010 79571049010 Kenmore Elite Refrigerator

I know how frustrating it can be when the articulating mullion isn't cooperating to close the door properly.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn't sell the spring individually, it is part of the mullion/plate assembly and it will need to be replaced to solve the problem.

Freezer temp display reads "Er" and refrigerator temp display reads "CO". Light is on, compressor does not seem to be running. Refrigerator not cooling.

The Er CO error code indicates that you have a communication error between the display control board in the freezer door and the main control board on the outside back panel of the refrigerator. It could be caused by a loose wiring connection or a problem with the control board. A power surge or glitch through the electrical line could possibly cause this problem. Try unplugging the refrigerator for 3 minutes and then plugging it back in. This will reboot the control boards. If the error code returns when the refrigerator is plugged back in then it will need to be serviced by a technician since it is under warranty. The details of your warranty are in the owner's manual. Call 1-800-469-4663 (1-800-4MY-HOME) for warranty repair service.
