Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you are having this problem with the icemaker. I see this is connected to an RO system, which could very likely be creating this problem. Most all refrigerators that are connected to an RO will experience this type of problem. I'm attaching a video you can access http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/articles/authored/video-water-dispenser-or-ice-maker-is-slow?sid=MMLxexpertxmerch that explains and shows how to check the water pressure. If the icemaker is cycling and if the water pressure is ok, the water valve # 5221JA2011J will probably need to be replaced. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will assist you further.

Q:

Freezer not cooling properly 795.71029.010

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

It sounds like the door gasket isn’t sealing properly. I would do the dollar bill check. Get a crisp dollar bill and place in between the door and the unit. Close the door and try to pull the dollar out, if it come out too easy then the gasket needs replaced. Make sure you go all around the door to check the whole gasket. Also check for visual cracks and tears in the gasket itself.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.

I didn't notice a place where a bill felt no resistance. Could that really cause a freezer to be at around 30 consistently and the refrigerator at about 40? Both warm when the door opens and then cool to that level.
