Question and Answers

Q:

refrigerator lights 79569002900 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
Sorry to hear of the issue you're having with the interior lights. I know how convenient they are to have working.
If the light bulbs have been replaced and they still won't work, the most likely problem will be with the door switch. A good check for this will be to pry the switch out and connect the 2 wires together. Be sure to disconnect the power before removing the switch and connecting the wires. Now, reconnect the power and if the lights work when the wires are connected, it indicates the switch # 6600JB1010A has failed and will need to be replaced.
If the lights still don't work, it could indicate an issue with the socket or the electronic control. In this case, we would recommend having a technician assist with the electrical checks.
Hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
