Q:

Light switch will not turn off light in oven

Thanks for the information about your range/oven model 790.99513302; sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you with the issue.

Based on your description, it still sound like a door switch issue.  If the switch sometimes cuts the light off as you describe I think the switch is not operating properly.  I have researched the wiring diagram and there are no other components in the light circuit that could make the light stay on.  There however could be a loose wire that is grounding either around the switch or the light socket but that would be very rare.  Because the switch does not cut the light off every time you manually push it in I don’t think the door alignment would be the issue, however you should re-inspect that as well.

The portion of the contractor spec sheet that provides the breaker/wire size is shown in the image below. That range will need a 40 amp breaker with 8 gauge copper wire according to that data. This should be the information that you need to install that range. I assume that you already have the installation guide. If you need more help, let us know.
