Thank you for your question on why the new control will not work in your range.

I did verify you do have the correct part number.

This range has a series of boards and the power board receives the 120 volts to power a transformer which changes the volts to DC voltage to power up the ERC range control board you changed.

If you are able to use a meter to see if you have the voltage 120 volts AC into the power board on the P12 connector on the power board to anyone of the 4 contacts to pin number 1 on the end for neutral, then I would say the power board is not powering up the control and will need to be replaced.

P11 on the power board should be the DC low voltage out going to the control board.

Since the new board will not light up I think that the power board is most likely the problem.

This is not an easy thing to diagnosis because of some many boards and how they interact with each other.

Look at the diagram below for the location points for voltage in and out of the power board.

We usually suggest that you have a technician troubleshoot this type of multiple board ranges so as not to have to guess as to which board is the problem.

Please let me know what you have found, and we can continue our troubleshooting based on that.

I live in a rental house and have an older Elite 790, I'm sorry, but the only other numbers it gives me is the color. It was working fine, boiling water and all of a sudden it started beeping and flashing codes. I know cars, but not ovens, so I really need help. It seems to give 2 codes, on the clock area, it says F20, but where the temps would be for the burners, the first says Fo the next one shows 15. Its the same on each side. Also, under the clock in green it says "oven door locked" . I've checked the ribbons I can get to and they seem to be fine, should I open the other area that the clock is in? Any help would be greatly appreciated as we need to feed 2 growing boys. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Thank you for the update on the cook top not working. The F20 is a communication error for the user interface board. This is the board that controls the surface elements. The other error code FO15. I do not find this error code in the system for that range. The control you purchased is for the clock and oven control. The UIB is what controls the surface units on this range. As I said before that because this range has a very complex control system I would suggest that you have a technician look at the range. If this range belongs to the landlord then I would definitely have a technician look at the range to give you landlord an estimate. In some cases there may have to be a number of boards replaced because of how they interact with one another. I apologize for taking so long to answer you. I was on vacation last week. Please let me know how it works out. Sam A.
