It is likely that a relay on that clock control board (also called EOC -- Electronic Oven Control) failed and made that loud pop. To fix this type of problem, you will normally need to replace the EOC and you may also need to replace other components. Based on the cost of that control board and the potential for replacing other parts, I recommend that you call Sears at 1-800-469-4663 (1-800-4MY-HOME) and purchase a Service Smart Protection Agreement to cover this repair. That agreement will cover the cost of the parts and labor for this repair and will also continue to cover the range for a full year after you purchase that agreement. The cost of that EOC board is around $200 just by itself. As noted above, there is a chance that you have other components that may need to be replaced. That Service Smart Protection Agreement costs around $240 in most areas. That is why I recommend that resolution for this failure.
