I apologize for the problems you and the folks you sent posts from have had.

The new clock you received has had different software added to it. This clock will not communicate with the original user interface board or the power relay board.

A kit will have to be installed that includes a new clock, user interface board, and power relay board. The part number for the kit is 5304455004 and the cost is $266.80.

Contact Sears Parts Direct at 1-800-252-1698 and ask them to let you return the original clock and send you this kit.

Foremost, I do appreciate your help Jimmy K. Thanks again for the help you gave me a couple years back on my range. Well, I was able to get by with it for a while. After installing part #5304455004, it worked for about a year until I started getting an F-13 code when attempting to use broil. After disconnecting the power supply to the range, waiting a few minutes and reconnecting, I still get an F-13 when trying to broil. So my wife and I went without broil for about a year and I'm just getting around to fixing it today. From reading other posts, it sounds like I need to replace that same part again (5304455004). This is frustrating to me because it is such an expensive part to purchase, the current list through sears parts direct is $270.17 and this is the second time I've had to replace it. I went ahead and ordered it, but again, I am pretty frustrated by the fact that this part keeps going out. I just thought I would post this on here in the hope that you may be able to suggest any alternatives. Do you think that it may be worthwhile to speak to someone at Sears Parts Direct customer service about the issues I've had with this part? Thanks again! -Brian

Thank you for your question on the problem with the PF on the display and the display not responding.

This is a very complex system and if as you say have installed the 5304455004 kit and you still are having the same problem I think you have no option but to replace the touch pad.

The manufacture does not provide any diagnostic tool for checking the capacitance touch board.
