Thank you for choosing ManageMyLife.com and allowing us to help you.

SAFETY NOTICE: Be sure to disconnect power to the appliance before performing any repairs. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks that might be recommended, please contact your local service provider for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others. Wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts.

The clock /timer, Part # 316272400 is a manufacturer substitution. The part may differ in appearance but is a functional equivalent to prior parts including 316272200. At this time, this part is only available through Sears Home Service and not SearPartsDirect.com. It may be available at a local appliance parts shop in your area. To replace an electronic oven control, remove the back panel behind that console to access the back of that EOC. NOTE: The metal edges on that back panel are sharp. Protective gloves are recommended for this repair.

Note the locations of the wires on that original control board before removing them. Once you disconnect the wires on the existing control board, you can remove the 4 screws that mount that control board in the console.  When you pull that control board out, you may be able to peel off and reuse the overlay. If not, then you will need to order a new overlay for the control board.

I also see two other boards. Part #316272400 cost $150.61 and the other board is part # 316271800 that cost $210.08. If these other boards are compromised, it may become a very expensive repair. You may want to have a Sears technician verify the total extent of the problem. It could end up to be more cost effective to replace rather than repair this appliance.

Thanks for the information about your range/oven model 79099112301, sorry you are having a problem I will be glad to assist you. Based on the information you have provided that neither the bake nor broil will come on I suspect that the oven control has failed. If you have testing equipment here is a check you can make to determine the source of the problem.  _Always disconnect power supply before servicing the appliance and when testing live voltage be sure to wear proper safety equipment (gloves and eye protection) also be aware of sharp metals on product_With a high quality volt/ohm meter test power at the oven control there should be 240 volts betweenL1 and L2 in. If that power is good now set oven to bake   and test voltage between L2 out and BK there should be 240 volts + - 5%. If there is not voltage output then the board is bad and will need replacing. If there is power then check the wiring to the bake and broil element.    The convection is also power through the oven control. I have attached an image with wiring diagram for your convenience below. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.Ron H.

Your details indicate that the oven will not heat up. This implies that the stove top burners are working. If the stove top burners are not working, then you could have a voltage supply problem or a wiring failure in the terminal block or outlet cord. In nothing on the range heats, I recommend that you check the house circuit breaker or fuses for the range. You can check the wiring on that terminal block using the information shown in the installation guide. Here is a direct link for that document: Installation Instructions .

If the stove top burners do heat, then you could have a wiring failure or a bad clock control board that would cause this failure. You can unplug the range and check the wiring connections on that clock control board in the console. The wiring diagram is shown in the image below with the wiring for the oven element circuits traced in colors. Remove the upper back panel of the range and check those wiring connections. You can also check the clock control board for a burned spot or obvious damage. If you find a wiring failure, then you may be able to fix this problem without replacing parts. If you find no wiring failures or you see a burned spot on that clock control board, then you may need to replace that component (part 316272200). You can order parts from the Sears PartsDirect website. Be sure that you unplug the range before accessing internal components and replacing parts.

This information may help you fix this oven heating problem in your range. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

If you get to a point where you need to have a service technician repair this failure, you can schedule one through this link: Sears Home Services .
