I know it can be very frustrating to have an appliance you depend that has some unexplained issues. Managemylife.com is always a great resource to find the answers to just about anything. I would suggest that you provide the model # and any other information that you think may help your expert respond with the best possible response. Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

In order to clean the inner door glass the oven door will need to be taken off the range. The door will have to be placed on a protected surface and taken apart. Without knowing the model number of your range I can only provide general instructions. The Owners manual will show you how to remove the oven door. Lay the oven door down on a protected surface and begin removing the screws along the bottom and most likely the screws holding the door handle on as well. Separate the inner panel from the outer panel and make a note or better yet, take pictures of the door as you begin taking it apart or you will not be able to figure how it all fits back together. I added an image with the basic door removal instructions and a image of a basic Kenmore oven door.

So that's what I can tell you at this point. I can give you more detailed help if you could provide me with the complete model number. The model numbers are typically located inside the door or lid and on the back panel of the unit. If you could supply me with that information I will be happy to assist you further.

Sharon: The door will need to be taken off from the range. Lay the oven door down on pad to protect the counter top/ table or floor and then remove the screws along the bottom of the door and remove the two screws securing the door handle. Carefully take the door apart making note of the order of parts and where they fit or you will not likely have a very difficult time getting it back together properly. On page 37 in your Use and Care Guide it shows how to remove the oven door. If you do not have manual. Here is the URL that you can copy and paste in the browser to bring up the manual. http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/owner_manuals/3397/KENMORE-Free-Standing-Electric-L0809530?brand_name_search=79097454800+
