Question and Answers

Q:

what does code f62 mean

A:

Error codes can be hard to find sometimes. If they fall within a category that is used for service repair they are not usually found in the owner's manual. I found a list from a previous post that may be what you are looking to find. If you add some detail about the problem with your oven in this thread, it may help the expert provide a better answer. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question.

Error codes can sometimes be a little confusing as to what they mean.

  • If you have not already done so,disconnect power to the range for 1 minute and then reconnect and reset the clock for the time of day, and then try to use the oven to see if the error code returns.

  • I am sorry but the technical information I have on this model does not show a f62. If it truly is F 62 it may be some kind of engineering code that I do not have access to.

  • I have included the technical list for the F codes on this model.

  • Most of the time the common F codes relates to the oven temperature sensor failing. Or the Electronic Oven Control failing. And these would have to be replaced.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

How do you turn off the timer and beeping without the oven shutting off?

A:

The image below contains a picture of your oven control and you should be able to turn the timer and the beeping off by pushing the "Timer Set/Off" key pad.

Review the instructions for how to set and cancel the timer without turning the oven off.

If you're following the instructions and pushing the correct key pad but everything is shutting off then most likely there is a short in the control.
