Kenmore Electric Range

Detailed information about your appliances can really come in handy and I will be happy to help. I did some research and I was able to find the owners manual for your range. I am also adding a second link that will help you find the age of your range. I hope this helps with your research while you wait for your expert response.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Your model range was manufactured in the 24th week of 2000. Yes, it will be safe to use the 5" pan over the 6" radiant burner. I would not recommend using any harsh cleaners on the control panel, not even vinegar and water even though the Use and Care guides states that you can. I recommend using a mild dish detergent and a warm water mixture and then rinse it clean with just warm water and clean cloth. The convection fan is only used during the convection bake cycles to circulate the air inside the oven cavity. The convection fan doesn't normally need to be cleaned but if it does, you can remove the cover and the nut on the end of the shaft and remove the fan blade.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
