Question and Answers

Q:

I have a kenmore range #790.96109800. & I want to know how to install the bake element #TS775 on this model. It wont go back into the hole. Please help.

A:

Heating elements and sensor probes are often the easier of the oven repairs. I see this one is being difficult. I located a similar question that may help and another post with a video. These may help while you wait for the expert to review this model. I attached both links below.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If the element leads appear to be the same length as the original and there not too long; it should fit. The leads could be hitting some wires preventing it from fitting flush. I recommend sliding the range out from the wall and disconnect the power cord from the power source. Remove the rear panel to see what is restricting the bake element from going in enough to install the screws securing the bake element. If need be, you can flex the element in order to position the leads through the holes.

I added a video with the procedure here .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you with replacing the oven door glass. I have found a video that will aid in replacing door glass. Click here to watch the video. Once you have the door off place it on a padded surface. A few thick towels will work well.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
