Question and Answers

Q:

I have a 790.95912201 range 79095912201 Kenmore Electric range

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
Sorry to hear of the issue you are having with the oven cavity, I know how frustrating that is to have occur.
When you mention "oven part," I am presuming the oven cavity is not working but the surface units are?
There is not a fuse for the range, and the power to the oven and surface units are controlled by the electronic control board or clock. Sometimes a power relay will short within the board and cut out power to either the oven or the surface elements because they are supplied power on different relays. That would be the most likely issue for this type of problem.
If you would feel more confident have a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-349-5071, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.
Hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

A:

The F1 error code indicates an issue with one of the following, a faulty sensor, stuck keypad or control board failure. I provided you with an image below with more information on the error code. If resetting the unit by disconnecting it from the outlet or by switching off the designated circuit breaker for 20-30 minutes doesn't work, more than likely the Electronic Oven Control will need to be replace. If you do not feel comfortable diagnosing and repairing this issue yourself, service can be scheduled at the following link Sears Home Services . I hope this helps.
