Hello Hanna. It appears that you already have the oven door lock problem fixed according to the reply that you sent to Expert Sam A. in that previous answer that James posted in the above response (here is that same link for the previous answer from Sam A. -- my door latch on my oven is stuck open and I can't close the door ). I am glad to hear that you got that first problem fixed. You indicated that you have a smaller problem with the clock display disappearing on your control. Here is a link for your owner's manual that shows how to set that clock: Owner's Manual . If the clock display is completely blank and you cannot set it, you can try to completely reset the control board by unplugging the range for several minutes and then plugging it back in. You can shut off the house circuit breaker for the range if you can't reach the outlet. This will sometimes reset the control so that it will work normally. After restoring power to the range, try to set the time on the clock.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

If the clock is completely blank and will not respond then you may have a failed control board.

If you get to a point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair the range, you can schedule one through this link: Sears Home Services .

Q:

How do you remove the oven bottom of my electric Kenmore range?

A:

The parts diagram shows an oven bottom available but I can't be certain if can be removed without major tear down. It possibly could be remove if you see two thumb screws at the rear of the oven bottom. Remove the two thumb screws, lift the back of the floor up and then slide the front lip of the floor out and remove the bottom. If your model does not have thumb screws then it will require a technician to remove and replace the oven bottom.
