Needing to find out if the wiring are okay to your appliance is very important to know. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, I was searching in the Sears Parts Direct website and found your diagram to your Oven. I have attached the link below. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question.

I can understand your concern when the range popped.

This range is not designed for the use out of the U.S.

I do not think that they even have a converter for the range because of the high wattage use and the cost in converting the range from 240 volt 60 cycle to 220 volt 50 cycle and the 110 parts of the range that will not work in that electrical environment.

None to the U.S. built models are designed to operate in the Uruguay electric supply. And using a conversion transformer to make them work would not be cost effective.

I would suggest that you get a local electrician see what if anything can be done to get the appliances range to work.

I would suggest that you purchase a appliances that were manufactured in Europe designed for use in Uruguay. I believe that they have the say voltage.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

Does a cook top & wall oven require separate 220V wiring?

A:

Each appliance will require its own 220 volt supply. Both the cook top & oven will require separate circuits & separate plugs.
