Q:

I have a sears stove and the digital clock/oven temp guage does not work.

A:

Turn one of the surface burners on to confirm if it will glow red. If it does not glow red then you likely do not have 220-240 volts supplied to the range. If it does glow red then the clock/oven control has likely failed.

The range must have 220-240 volts supplied to it or the clock and burners will not work. You may have lost the line 2 (L2) voltage supply to the range. There should have been two (2) circuit breakers dedicated for the range. Locate both circuit breakers in the breaker box and reset both circuit breakers by flipping them both OFF and ON 2-3 times and then see if have clock display. If it does not power up after resetting both circuit breakers then I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range.
