Question and Answers

Q:

F10 code and oven does not shut off. 79095301100 Kenmore Electric range

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

If the temperature sensor's resistance checks out fine, the only other component involved is the electronic control board. If the sensor is not at fault for the runaway temperature, replacing the board should solve the issue.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

stove turns off 79095301100 Kenmore Electric range

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when working with the range.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore model number 790.95301100

What needs to be checked out and see this on other model types is  to check the wiring.  Look at the lock switch for the door to see if there is just a loose or bare wire.  Next, check the control board panel area for the same thing with loose, bare, or burn wire that needs to be taken care of.   If you see the problem great.  If not the next step is to take a meter to the wires and test them so see which is good or bad.

Good luck.

If you have further questions please let me know.

Thanks for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com
