I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your Kenmore Range Model 790.94852300.

That type of failure is normally caused by a problem with the electronic oven control board in the console of the range (part 316207511). The bake and broil elements will rarely fail both at the same time. You probably have a bad relay on that control board that is preventing the elements from getting the proper voltage to heat.

If you want to fix this problem on your own, you can try replacing that control board. There is a slight risk that a wiring failure or another problem is causing the failure but that chance is fairly slim.

You can order parts from this page: Kenmore Range Model 790.94852300 Repair Parts.  Unplug the range before accessing and replacing internal components. Note: You will normally need to replace the overlay (part 316220839) at the same time that you replace the control board. The overly covers and marks the selection buttons on the front of the control board. That overlay will normally not be able to be reused on the new control board.

Remove the upper back panel behind the console to access the control board. Note the location of wiring connections on the existing control board before removing the wires (take a digital picture if necessary). Remove the wires from the existing control board and replace it with the new one. Proper attach the wires to the new control board and reassemble the range.
