Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The first thing to check is to see if the upper (broil) element will heat or not by starting the cold oven in broil cycle. If the broil element heats up, it could have faulty hidden bake element or a faulty electronic oven control if the hidden bake element (lower) is not heating. Both upper and lower oven elements alternate operation during preheat and bake cycles.

I added an image below showing how to access the hidden bake element. It can removed and tested for resistance with an Ohm meter. If the hidden bake element measures resistance, the electronic oven control is likely faulty. NOTE: Disconnect the power supply from the range before servicing.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.

The range is likely set for silent control operation. I provided the procedure for disabling the silent control feature in the image below. I recommend that you try using that control function to restore the beep that should normally sound when the oven is preheated.

If you are not able to restore the audible control operation using this function, then you will likely need to replace the control board (part 316462804). You may also need the overlay cover part 316419807 when you replace the control board.

You can order parts from the Sears PartsDirect website.

If you need more help, reply with additional details.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. The "F10" fault code implies a Runaway temperature. Based on your details, the thermistor and thermistor circuit is Okay so the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) will need to be replaced. There are 4 relays on the control board and I would not be able to say which one is faulty. I recommend replacing the oven control board rather than attempting to remove and replace a relay.

You can order the control board part #316462804 at Sears PartsDirect

Note: Disconnect the power supply from the range before removing and replacing the oven control board.
