Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The heating element requires 240 volts in order to heat. This means it needs line one and line two voltages. The voltage must measure 240 when checking the voltage across the two leads of the bake element. I added an image below of the wiring circuit. I traced the bake circuit in red and green so that you can see the circuit. If it does not measure 240 volts when measuring across the two leads of the bake element when the old bake element burnt out and shorted; it took out the oven control board. You will most likely have to remove and replace the electronic oven control. You can look up and order the control board at Sears PartsDirect

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Thank you for your advice. I understand that. I was hoping to find a schematic for the control board it self. I believe its just a 5 dollor relay. insted of a 125. board. buy the time i put the research in it made no sense to invest any more time or money. so i just bought the 1yr service plan. cause if you add up the element, control board, and simmer board its more than the plan. the only problem is having to be around for one of the blue crew. Well really the problem is the stove is only 2yrs old. I pulled out one that was 25yrs old that worked fine it was just out dated. It just sucks the new one is just plain lame when it comes to quality.
