Q:

Oven not working after storm 79094102703 Kenmore Electric range

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Kenmore range

From the information you have provided above, I can understand the frustration of having your oven malfunction, after researching model number 790.94102703. if the voltage supply has been confirmed at the terminal block at the back of the oven and it has 220 volts when measuring across the two outside terminals and 120 volts when measuring across the outside terminals to the center terminal, the electronic oven control was likely damaged by the lightning and it will need to be removed and replaced. I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your wall oven.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business, have a great day.

*Safety disclaimer before you try and repair the unit make sure the power supply is disconnected. There may be sharp parts to the unit that can cause injury to you if not careful.
