I forget where to put the operation/repair manual. Where could I get a copy of it? I went to Sears outlet store this morning. No one there seemed could explain the component of the terminal block.

Definitely having to do repairs yourself can be a challenge to help in determining if you have the right part I would suggest visiting Sears parts direct.com where you can view a diagram of all parts still available for your Range. I have attached a link below. Hope it helps!

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If the terminal block kit did not come with the installation instructions, I added the instructions in the image below. The metal mounting bracket will slip over and snap in place over the receptacles. Cut the two wires from the old receptacles and use the wire nuts to reconnect the new wires to old ones. See image below. Disconnect the range from the power supply before removing and replacing the new receptacles.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Does a replacement terminal block have wires attached to splice into stove's original TB wires?

A:

No, the replacement terminal blocks for the surface burners do not come with wires attached. The original replacement wires are no longer available. The wire can be purchased at any electrical supply house or appliance parts distributor. The wire will need to be the same gauge and rated for high temperatures. You will need to splice the new wires to the old and fasten to the new wire to the receptacles/terminal block. The new terminal block will have a place to connect the wires.

You may think about replacing your range due to the availability of parts.

One of my four burners not working, and I went to Sears outlet and the employee identified the right part # 530393058. My stove model is 790-93751104. Today I got the terminal block from the mail, but looks different from the old one. It has only one metal casing while the new has two. I don't know how to secure the plastic block to the casing, as there's no screw or latch. In the package, there is a pair of wires which should be connected to the existing wires. Please help!
