A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The control panel has been discontinued but I found one web site that claims to be out of stock but the expected ship date is January 25th - January 30th. It's worth a try. I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Burned-out oven broiler element is a different shape and size from the one pictured. Will it work?

A:

The image of your broil element as shown will be different than the real broil element. These are general drawings in the parts list. The broil element part #316203200 is the correct element and it should be the correct replacement. It should work as designed. You can order the broil element from Sears Parts Direct .

Q:

RE: model 790.79913302 Replacement bake element (TS775) seems too wide for the mounting holes.

A:

Carefully squeezing the ends in slightly to fit the mounting holes in the back of the oven should not break the element. This is a universal element that fits many different models. It should work properly in your oven once it is bent in slightly to fit the mounting holes.

If you are uncertain of your ability to install the element without breaking it, I recommend calling a service technician to replace the element.
