I understand the importance of getting a quick answer. I did some research on your model number but was not able to find an answer. Your expert will be able to help answer your question. It may take two business days for your expert to reply. I do hope that everything works out on the range.

The image below shows the KW rating of the range along with the normal Breaker/Copper Wire Size. This should be the information that you need for that project. If you need more help, let us know.

Thanks ... I've forwarded to my electrician and he'll review with inspector, so until that's done, I have to hope this is enough!!

That should be the same information that is on the rating plate for the range. There is additional information in the installation guide in case you need it. Here is a link for that document: Installation Manual

Nope - the plate which is supposed to have this info (on the right according to the installation guide, to which I referred originally - and which you've sent me a copy of) is on the right and had only a model number. A sticker on the left says "120v 15A 60hz", which makes no sense to me (1.8 kw??). The guide you sent has a table called "Range connection opening Size Chart" which includes: __________________________ 120/240 Volts 120/208 Volts| Cord Kit Ampere Rating| __________________________|_______________________| 8.8-16.5 KW 7.9-12.5 KW | 40/50 Amp | 16.6-22.5 KW 12.6-18.5 KW| 50 Amp | --------------------------------------------------- none of these numbers seems reasonable - 18,500 watts? Really? I think this is just the rating on the connection cord. Hence I asked you - what document had the table you sent me (just out of curiousity)?? Thanks very much for your help once again.

A:

You are correct that the 18.5 KW is the rating for the power cord. I do not know why the rating plate sticker on the range is not correct. The document that I obtained the correct rating information from is the Contractor Specification Sheet for the range. I posted the complete specifications for that document in the image below. It covers several specific models of ranges. The exact features of your range may be slightly different than the ones shown on that complete document. The wattage of the bake and broil element for your range should be the same. The KW rating of the range is accurate on that document. I hope that this additional information helps. If you need more information or assistance, let us know.
