Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to replace a non-working igniters on your range.

  • You will have to remove the burner grates and then remove the screws that hold the igniter orifice assembly to the cook top.

  • Then you will need a putty knife type tool to lift the tope to get to the surface igniters.

Try disconnecting the power to the range and reconnecting it. Give the control 2-3 minutes to unlock the door.

If this doesn't work, set the control to "clean" for 5-10 minutes then cancel the clean cycle. This should unlock the door.

I am having the same problem, have tried disconnecting power, re-starting oven clean and hitting delay start and start - nothing works and door remains locked. I hear a whirring ir buzzing noise when I try to re start oven clean. Do I need to replace door lock mechanism or the OEC ?
