The oven is probably heating to 100 degrees because of the convection heating element. Based on your description, you could have a voltage supply problem or a failed electronic oven control board (part 316418752 -- also called clock timer).

I recommend that you check the house circuit breakers or house fuses for the range first. You could have lost the L2 power supply to the range (traced in red on the wiring diagram in the first image). If the house circuit breakers or fuses for the range are okay, I recommend that you check the voltage at the range outlet. The diagram in the second image shows the voltage that you should measure at that outlet. NOTE: You should only check that live outlet voltage if you are completely confident in your technical ability to safely measure it .

If the outlet voltage is okay, then you will probably need to replace that electronic oven control board to fix this problem. You could have a wiring failure with the L2 IN wire traced in red. If not, then the relay for the L2 OUT circuit (traced in orange) has probably failed on that control board.

You can order the new control board (part 316418752) from the Sears PartsDirect website.

Be sure that you unplug the range before accessing internal components and replacing that board.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

The likely cause of this failure is the electronic oven control board in the console. There is a slight chance that a bad oven temperature sensor probe could be causing this problem.

I recommend that you check the oven temperature sensor probe first. Unplug the range and access the wire harness disconnect plug on the oven temperature sensor probe. The first image below shows this procedure if you see mounting screws for the sensor on the inside of the oven cavity. The second image shows how to access the probe from the back of the range with the lower back panel removed. The sensor will have violet wires going to it. Unplug the sensor and measure the resistance through this component with a volt/ohm meter. You should measure about 1100 ohms at room temperature. If the sensor is more than 100 ohms off, it will need to be replaced. You can order the sensor from the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number is 316134901. Here is a direct link for that part: Probe .

If the sensor is okay, then the electronic oven control board (part 316418752) will probably need to be replaced. This is the most likely failure since the fan is not working properly. Here is a direct link for the control board: Clock timer .

Unplug the range and remove the upper back panel to access and replace the control board in the console.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. Based on your symptom and details, if the broil element will glow red when broil is selected and the bottom of the oven does not get hot when Bake is selected, then I must assume the Bake element has failed or the Electronic Oven Control has failed.

The hidden bake element can be removed and disconnected and tested using an ohm meter. The hidden bake element should have 16-23 ohms of resistance. If the bake element tests Okay, the electronic oven control board has likely failed. I added the removal instructions in the image below.

NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing your range.
