Orifice Sizes for Natural Gas 79078772405 Kenmore Gas range

Thank you for choosing and being a valued member. I can certainly assist you in locating the orifices to your range.

I did look into the model number you provided, and I have found the orifices for your range.

I do apologize we do not give the instructions for converting back to natural gas from LP. You will need to contact your gas company in order to complete the repair.

316430500,  316237903, 316237900, 316237902, are the part numbers for the orifices.

The valve will need to be adjusted, in which, is why the gas company has to complete.

Check to see if the broiler burner ignites and works properly. If the broil burner won't light, then I recommend that you check the oven gas service shut-off valve as shown in the first image below.

If the broil burner works, then you could have a problem with that igniter on the bake burner. The second image below shows the theory of operation for the oven burner ignition system on this range. If that igniter is glowing on the bake burner when it is set in the bake but the burner won't light, then you likely have a weak igniter (even though it is glowing). A technician would check the amp draw through the wire between the igniter and safety gas valve to verify that type of failure. If you have a clamp-on ammeter, you can check that issue yourself. NOTE: Use extreme caution when checking that live amp draw. Wear proper safety equipment (insulated rubber electrical safety gloves and safety goggles). Unplug the range as soon as live testing is completed . If the igniter is glowing but the minimum amp draw is not achieved through that circuit to the safety gas valve, then the igniter will need to be replaced. You can order parts from the Sears PartsDirect website.

If the igniter is not glowing, you could have a failed igniter, a bad clock control board, an open safety gas valve or a wiring failure in that circuit.
