Thank You for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com

I can understand the frustration when not be able to locate the parts you need. After researching your model, I don't show a orifice kit is available. You would need to purchase the complete ignitor assembly for each burner this would include the orifices for natural gas. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.

Ignitor/Orifice Assembly (Left-Rear) for Model 790.78644601

 Ignitor/Orifice Assembly (Right-Rear) for Model 790.78644601

Thank You for Submitting your question to ManageMyLife.com

I can understand your concern with the LP conversion kit. There is only one kit for this model. We only sell the valve for the top burners. For the oven, the gas valve has to be adjusted by a gas technician (gas company) I hope this answers your question. Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com

Q:

I have a Kenmore Gas Range Model 790.78644601. I turned on my timer for about 20 minutes and when I went to turn it off it is showing a fault code of F90.

A:

A non working Range is not something any of us want to see. If you are technically handy, this is a good site to get instruction and fix some things yourself. If you do not feel confident doing your own repairs, an option is to visit Sears Home Services and use the scheduler. While you wait for the expert to review your model, you can check the bottom links for some possibilities. Hope this is of help.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "F90" fault code indicates the maximum door un-locking time was exceeded. It's odd that it would be attempting to unlock if the oven was not placed in a Self cleaning cycle. I must assume the door was locked and now won't unlock based on the fault code.

You may be able to get the door unlocked by programming and starting a self clean cycle. Start a clean cycle and wait about one minute and then press the Stop/Clear pad and wait to see if the door locking mechanism will operate and unlock the door. If the door does not unlock or if the fault code will not clear, I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range. It could have a faulty oven control board, door lock assembly or door switch.

You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

What does the F90 error code mean on my gas range?
