Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The LP surface burner orifices will need to be removed and replaced with the Natural gas orifices. The pressure regulator will have to be converted back for Natural gas. The oven burner orifice hoods need be opened back up and the air shutter adjusted also.

I added the first three pages of the instructions in the image below and I will have to add the last page to the thread. You will need to basically, reverse the procedure in the instructions and remove and replace the surface orifices.

The Natural gas orifices are part #316237902 which can be ordered from Searpartsdirect.com for the Kenmore model 790.78531602.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

I assume that you are trying to adjust the flame as shown in the installation guide. This procedure from the installation guide is shown in the image below. If you are not able to achieve the proper blue flame using the air shutter adjustment, then you may need to tighten down the burner orifice spud (orifice hood in the image below) to reduce the flow of gas to the burner. The second image provides some drawings that may help you adjust the flame properly.

If you converted the range to LP gas (Propane), then you may need to tighten the burner spud even more. Make sure that all of the instructions in the conversion kit were followed if the range was converted.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
