Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your range not turning on. We are here to help. I recommend that you plug something else into the outlet. If it does turn on, the outlet is good. Next, with a multimeter you need to check the complete power cord. The power cord plugs into the electronic control board. You can ohm out the complete cord checking the plug. Also, make sure no wires got unplugged during the move. If all that check good, most likely the control board is bad. I hope that helps.

Q:

How do I replace the outer glass of the door on my Kenmore gas range?

A:

No special tools are sealer is required & you have the correct part number.

Remove the oven door per the included instructions. Lay the door down on a table with a protected surface. Position the door off of the edge of the table so you can access & remove the door handle screws #10 & trim #3 screws. You will now be able to lift off the trim #52 so you can replace the outer glass.

Please see the images provided for details.

Q:

Why does my Kenmore stove have an F30 error code?

A:

The F30 error code indicates a shorted temperature probe or open probe. You would need to use a meter to determine the cause of the failure. You will need to remove the back panel of the control area to access the temp probe harness. Unplug P5 & ohm out wires 12 to 13, it should read close to 1091 ohms. If it checks open or shorted it will need to be replaced. You can access the temp probe from inside the oven cavity. Please see the images provided.
