I understand that you are getting the error code F1 on your oven. I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. I attached the link below for you to view. I hope the link that I provided is helpful. Have a nice day.

Thank you for your question as to why your range has an F1 error code.

The F1 error code usually indicates that you will need to replace the electronic oven control.

If you remove power to the range for one minute and then restore the power and reprogram the clock for the time of day. Wait to see if the error comes back. If the F1 error comes back after you restore the power to the range, then replace the electronic oven control.

If you have a multi-meter you could check on other possible problem that could cause the F1 code to show up on the control display.

If you have a meter the you will need to remove the sensor from the oven either from the oven cavity or by removing the back panel of the range to check the connections on the plug in or checking the resistance of the sensor to be within the tolerances as per the chart below at 75 to 80 degrees in the house.

If it is more that 50 ohms off then I would suggest replacing the sensor before changing the electronic oven control.

The sensor if you need it is part number: 316134900 for about $40.00 and the electronic oven control part number: 316127903 for about $225.00. You can purchase these parts from: Sears Parts Direct .

Please referrence the images below for information regarding you problem with the range.

If you need more help with this range please let me know what you have found, and we can continue our troubleshooting based on that information.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

What does F9 error code indicate on my range?

A:

F9 error code indicates:

  1. Door latch motor failure/jammed. Latch motor switch failure.
  2. Oven control software failure, or component failure(stuck relay).
  3. Wiring problem.
  • Press the clear key.
  • If the Clear key does not eliminate the problem, turn off the power to the range for 30 seconds, then turn the power back on.
  • It is most likely to have a failed or misaligned door lock switch.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range.
