You indicated that the burners are working. I assume that the spark igniters are ticking when a burner valve is turned on. This would indicate that the range has power through the electric power cord to the spark igniter module. Your most likely failure in this situation is a failed control board since that component will not light up. You can unplug the range and check the wiring before replacing that control board. Remove the upper back panel to access the back of that clock control board in the console. The image below shows the voltage supply to that control board marked in red and green. Actual wire colors will be black and white for those wires. If those wiring connections are okay, then you will probably need to replace the control board to fix this problem. A technician would normally check the voltage at the control board through those wires using a volt/ohm meter. If you are completely confident that you can safely make that check, I recommend that you verify that the control board is getting power before replacing it. NOTE: You should only conduct that live voltage check if you are completely confident in your technical ability so safely execute that test. Wear electrical safety gloves and safety goggles when making that live voltage check. Unplug the range as soon as that live testing is completed . If the clock control board is getting voltage but will not light up, then it will certainly need to be replaced. You can order that part from this page: Electronic Oven Control Clock for Kenmore Range Model 790.75754100 . You would normally need the overlay for the keypad on that control as well. According to the model number, that appears to be a Bisque (off white or beige) color of range. That color of overlay does not appear to be available as a replacement part. If you are not able to reuse the original overlay, then you can use the white overlay (part 316220817) or the black overlay (part 316220817). Those parts are still available.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

I'm sorry you are having this problem. You have received some good information pertaining to the baking issue. Unfortunately, the model number listed is not complete. I show several different models using these numbers. However, based on the information listed, this appears to be a defective control board. Sometimes, disconnecting the power for 30 seconds and then reconnecting it will reset the control and it may work ok again. If it doesn't help, the control will probably need to be replaced. For more assistance a complete model and serial number will be needed and any additional details will be helpful. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

The range would need to be pulled out far enough to get behind it, to get to the plug. If you know which breaker goes to the range, you can leave the range where it is and just turn the breaker off and then back on. Now with the range pulled out and the power disconnected, the back panel can be removed by taking out the screws. I hope this will help you.
