You can view a parts list diagram for that oven door on the Sears PartsDirect website. Key your full model number into the model search field and you can then access the page that has your oven door parts. The parts page will look like the one shown in the image below. The outer glass is Key 4. That glass comes in several different colors. The almond color is the only one that appears to be available in that outer glass. If you need the outer glass and you can use that almond color, then you should be able to fix the door.

This information may help you with this oven door parts problem. If you need more help, reply with additional details.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

How do we determine whether the used Kenmore range that we bought uses natural gas or propane?

A:

This range was originally set up to use natural gas. A conversion kit was supplied with the range for use with propane gas. If the conversion was already made and the unit is set up for propane, then you would see the cap on the pressure regular showing LP with the hollow side facing outward as illustrated in the image below. Some technicians place a sticker on the range to indicate the conversion if the unit is set up for propane.

If the range has not been converted from natural gas to propane (LP gas), then you may be able to find the conversion kit attached to the back of the range. If not, you would need to order a new kit and instructions. The kit will contain the orifices needed to convert the top burners to propane. The part number for the LP conversion kit is 5303307190. The part number for the LP conversion instructions for your model of range is 316105802. You can order these parts online from the Sears PartsDirect website www.searspartsdirect.com .

It is recommended that a licensed LP technician complete the conversion from natural gas to propane on this range.
