Question and Answers

Q:

kenmore gas range

A:

Thank you for submitting your question. I understand your concern and I will be happy to assist you. Typically, most ranges are set for natural gas and then an LP kit will have to be purchased for conversion. You're range is set up for natural gas. The LP kit you'll need is part number 316467202. You can order the kit from our Sears Parts Direct web site. I hope this helps. Please reply back to this thread if you require further assistance. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

You can't really remove the scratches on the glass top. You can probably make them less noticeable by cleaning the glass with Bon Ami or Barkeepers Friend. These are strong cleansers without an abrasive in them. Scrub the area hard with a coating of one of the cleansers on it. Use a plastic scrub pad to scrub the glass.

Put some more cleanser and wet it and use a razor blade knife like you clean paint from windows with. Hold the blade at about a 30 degree angle and scrape the blade across the scratches.

When you have cleaned the glass top, put some glass top cream cleanser on the glass and spread it evenly with a paper towel or cloth. When the cream dries, wipe it off with a clean cloth. This procedure will make the scratches less noticeable.
