Thank you for your question William. Do you have the same trim kit as listed above? If you do please let me know so I can find the instructions for the installation of the kit. Is it for the wall oven or a microwave installed above the wall oven? Please let me know what you have as a stock number. Sam A.

it's a wall oven but the instructions you included in your prior answer are the exact ones that came with the oven. the problem is, i can't figure anyway the trim would fit based on the instructions. does the screw end go up or down? where do the screws fasten into?

Thank you for the update on the wall oven trims mounting. There should be a lip on the top side of the trim piece and two screw holes on either end trim piece. There should also be and mounting location on the chassis of the wall oven at the very bottom. They should have supplied two screws the same color as the trim piece. Put the trim piece onto the oven and locate the two screw holes in the trim mount and align the holes and install the screws. If you have something different than this please let me know or if possible take a picture of that mounting area and the trim and send it to me. I hope this information will help. Sam A.

thanks for the information. so the lip with the screw holes faces upward towards the bottom of the oven? there doesn't seem to be a place to slide the rest of the trim into to lay flush against the front bottom of the oven. any suggestions? i tried to position the trim in all angles possible, but it doesn't seem to fit right in any direction.

Thank you for the update on the trim piece. Is there anyway that you could take a picture off the oven trim location and the trim and post it on the site so I can see what the problem is. Just to verify that the model number of the wall oven is 790.48179? There should be a tab at the bottom of the oven to mount that trim piece too. Sam A.

On page 7 of the manual, the text indicates that all of the functions available are described only for the upper oven. Those functions can be applied to the lower oven by pressing the Lower Oven keypad instead of the upper oven pad. You should be able to use all of the same functions on the lower oven that can be programmed on the upper oven other the meat probe. I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, let us know.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on your symptom and details it sounds like the oven is not getting the proper voltage supply (220 volts). Since the display will not power up it could have lost line one (L1) voltage or Neutral or it could have a faulty electronic oven control or touch panel.

I recommend locating the two (2) house circuit breakers dedicated for the oven and reset both circuit breakers by flipping them both off and on 2-3 times and then see if the display is lit up. If it does not power up, I strongly suggest calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your wall oven.

You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
