I don't understand how an oven liner in less than four years can become warped and need replacement. We do not bake or roast regularly and have used the oven cleaning process only rarely. Kenmore "Elite" implies a high-end product. I have had builder-supplied ovens that lasted 20 years without this type of problem. Now I am being told that I need to pay for a specialist to come to my house and repair something that I don't believe should happen in the first place. Please explain why this happened in the first place, and how often this will happen in the future.

Let me add to my prior conversation. The fact is, I have NEVER had this problem on any of the cheap ovens I have owned in the past.

Thank you for your comments. I can appreciate how this type of problem occurring after just four years would be upsetting. I recommend passing on these concerns using the first link below.

The mounting brackets for that model of Kenmore Elite double wall oven are shown in the image below. That information should help you find the mounting brackets and release them. You may also need to remove the bottom trim before pulling that oven out of the cabinet. Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breakers for the oven before removing it from the cabinet.

If you need more help, let us know.
