Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The first thing to check is the two house circuit breakers dedicated for the oven. Reset both circuit breakers by flipping them both off and on 2-3 times and then set the clock and see if will heat.

If it does heat, it could have a faulty electronic oven control board; burnt wire or possibly the safety thermostat has opened breaking the line two voltage supply to the electronic oven control. The electronic oven control is approximately $115.00. The thermal safety switch is likely resettable by pushing the red reset button. The oven will have to be pulled out from the wall and the back panel will have to be removed to access the safety thermal switch.

Flip the circuit breakers OFF before servicing the wall oven. If the safety thermal is not tripped, the oven control is most likely faulty.

The screw that fell off may have fallen out from the back side of the oven door or from the oven door handle. Look for an empty hole a screw would thread in to.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Joey- Thank you Thank you for your help. We followed your suggestion and now our oven works once again. :) We pulled it out and removed the metal shield. Looked and found the red reset button. Pushed it in- put the oven back in place and returned power. Now it works like a champ! I am so grateful that your advice saved us a service call to have a repairman come and do it. ~ kim

The light comes on in the oven and all the display lights work. We can not afford expensive parts so could you please tell me we can try that is not expensive. Pat
