Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I added an image below with procedures. You will need to remove the oven door in order to separate the inner and outer panels. I'm not aware of any adhesive being used but it's possible it may have a little to prevent the glass from rattling. You could use some high temperature rated silicone if needed.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Thanks everyone for the replies. @ Joey: Love the insturction sheet, but I run into a problem next to figure 4 with the "PS". The replacement glass did not come with a frame attached to the bottom. Do you think this is a defective product that I received? The parts diagram, when ordering, didn't show it either.

Gus: If you're replacing the outer glass, looking at the parts diagram it should have some type of trim at the bottom of the outer glass. It's possible that it could be missing. I added an image of the outer door glass it appears to have a frame at the bottom. If yours is missing, you will need to re-order the glass.

The F11 indicates that the control detects a shorted keypad. This is probably normal since you were holding down the stop/clear. The dr code indicates that you have a problem with the oven door lock assembly or the oven door switch. The oven control was likely trying to lock the oven door. Open the oven door and firmly hold in the door switch plunger. See if the door latch assembly will move while you hold in that door switch plunger. If the door latch assembly finishes moving, then you may be able to unlock the door while holding that door switch in. Press and hold that STOP/CLEAR button to disable that door lock (while continuing to hold that door switch plunger in). If that does not help, then I recommend that you have a service technician diagnose and repair this type of failure. You could have a bad oven clock control board, a failed oven door lock assembly, a failed oven door switch or a wiring failure between components. Here is a link for the Sears Service website: Sears Home Services .

If you want to troubleshoot this problem yourself, you can shut off the house circuit breaker for the oven and check the wiring connections on the oven clock control board in the console. I provided a wiring diagram and other technical information in the image below. This may help you resolve this failure. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

Q:

How to install Kenmore built-in oven

A:

Installing built in appliances does require the correct brackets to hold the appliance correctly so I understand your concern. While you wait for the expert, in case you did not have access to the installation manual I attached it below. I also added the link to Sears Parts Direct if that is not the parts list you were viewing. There are some brackets listed when you click on the cabinet image. Hope this helps!

I was able to locate mounting parts on the "Body" section of the microwave parts diagram. Key #310 on the diagram is listed as being a Cabinet Mounting Plate, but it should actually be listed as the Cabinet Mounting Kit. This kit will contain 4 mounting pieces, and screws. Part #5304440067
