Hello Sam. I apologize for the problems with the images. I posted an illustrated procedure in the image below that you should be able to use to replace that cooktop. Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breakers for the range before beginning that repair.

I posted a procedure for opening the console on that type of range in the image below. Your range will be slightly different than the one shown below but the basic procedure is the same. Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breakers for the range before accessing internal components.
