Thank you for your Inquiry on cleaning your range oven glass.

  • Be very careful handling this door, because of the glass panel on the front, and door is as very heavy.
The things you are going to need to prepare for in advance of the cleaning.
  • A large clean flat surface to lay the oven door on.
  • A soft cover for the surface to protect both the oven door and the surface you will be laying it on.
  • Philips #2 screwdriver.
  • A container to put the screws in.
  • A method of logging which screws go back in which holes
  • Please refer to your owners manual on page 40 for the first steps on removing the door from the range.
  • When you have successfully removed the door from the range and have it on the prepared surface.
  • Please locate the door so the inside liner is facing up and the door handle can hang over the edge of the surface so the door will lay flat.
  • Locate the two top black screws on the inner door liner.
  • Use the Phillips screw driver to remove the two long screws and backing washer that hold the door package together.
  • Once these are removed locate the 4 short screws at the bottom of the door and remove these screws.
  • The inner door liner can now be lifted off the front glass panel, and set aside. Be careful not to disturb the inner door insulation.
  • You should now be able to carefully clean the inside front panel glass.
  • Once you have cleaned all the surfaces you wish to clean, reassemble the door and reinstall on the range body.
