Thank you for contacting Sears Parts Direct with your concerns about your range Ethan. I am so sorry to hear the oven elements are not working. I know how inconvenient it can be when half of the range is out of operation. I do need some additional information to help you narrow down the issue. Are you getting any error codes in the control panel when you try to use the oven? And does the system beep?
Have you cleared the oven programming and reset it? In case you have not completed this step, I have included the link for the owner's manual for you to review on line.

Owner's manaual for Kenmore Dual Fuel Range model 79046132300.

If you have already followed the procedures set forth in the manual, it sounds like you will need to replace the Electronic control. I have included that link for you also.

If I can be of further assistance, please respond to this thread. Thank you for choosing Sears Ethan, we appreciate your business.

Hi linda, No, I have never had any error codes or beeping. I push Bake, Broil, or Conv. and it operates as usual, set the temp and then push start. I can hear a faint click from behind the control pannel like always and then the element indicator for bake, Briol or Conv. is displayed with the temp. but nothing ever gets hot. the newest development to all of this is that now we don't have the electric ignitor for the gas cook top either. Also the link you posted fro the owners manual is no longer available. It gives me a 404 not found error and the page that loads says. Not Found The requested URL /owner_manuals/4710/KENMORE-Slide-In-Range-Electric-Gas-L0302121 was not found on this server.

Thank you for contacting us back Ethan. I am so sorry to hear the problem with the range is actually getting worse. I also apologize the link for the manual didn't come up. That was my error. Let me give you that link again.

Owner's Manual for 79046132300.

Once you have tried resetting the electronic control check and see if it clears up the oven issue. You may have more than one issue going on as the surface burners are are separate from the electronic control. Or the problem may be with the gas supply. That is not something I recommend you work on yourself. I have included the link in case you need a technician.

Thank you for the quick response Ethan. I am sorry you are still not able to pull up the link. It is good to know you still have the owner's manual. You will want to press the clear/off option. Then turn off the power source to the range for 10 minutes. You can do that by unplugging it or at the breaker box. You want to give it time to clear any programming that may be "stuck" in the electronic control. Then follow the Setting Oven Controls procedures that start on page 18 of the manual.

If you continue to have the same issues, I recommend getting a service technician. If both the oven and the surface burners are not getting hot, you may have an issue with the gas valve. Because of the danger when working with gas products, at that point I think a technician is the safest way to proceed.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. I want to thank you again for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

Thank you for the quick response Ethan. I am so sorry to hear that resetting the range didn't resolve the problem. Since you have had problems opening the links, I wanted to make sure you have the part number for the electronic control (also called clock timer). That number is 318198401.

You should be able to fix that problem yourself. Here is a direct link to the replacement bake element for that range: Bake Element for Kenmore Elite Range Model 790.46133300 . Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breakers to the range before installing that element. You may need to remove the oven door as shown below before completing that repair. You will see screws in the very back of the oven cavity that secure the element in the oven. Remove those screws and then carefully pull the element into the oven cavity. Remove the wires from the existing element. Don't let the wires shrink back through the opening in the back of the oven cavity. Attach the wires to the new element. Reassemble the oven.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, let us know.
